Dessie Wineman Jones, age 68, of Gardendale, AL passed away on August 28, 2008. She was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Whidby of Mt. Olive, AL, Nancy Speers of Kempnes, TX; Son, Raymond Jones, Jr. of Dothan, AL; grandchildren, Daniel Whidby, Kelli Whidby, Jason Brown, Stephen Miranda, Victoria Miranda, Karis Jones; 5 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2008 at 2:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00PM, burial following at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
