Dennis Hallmark

Dennis "Skinny" Hallmark, age 63, of Inverness passed away on February 20, 2012. He was a devoted son, father, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Dennis was a master Dive Instructor and Trainer and was named the National Dive Instructor of the year in 2003 by IDEA. He was owner/ proprietor of Dennis Hallmark Construction for the past 35 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Alexander City, AL. Dennis is survived by his daughter, Linda Denise Hallmark Whatley (Allen); mother, Helen Sorenson Hallmark; father, Ellis Clayton Hallmark; brother, Thomas Edward Hallmark(Nancy); sister, Shirley Hallmark Cosby (Dick); brother, Gerald Clayton Hallmark (Jerri Ann); granddaughter, Allyson Hunter Whatley. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 5-7PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 10:00AM at Jefferson Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Mike Ratliff and Dr. Gerald Hallmark will be officiating. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
