Denise Hughes Cockrell

Denise Hughes Cockrell, age 69, passed away on May 4, 2023.  She was a retired officer from the Birmingham Police Department's South Precinct.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Cockrell, her parents Cecil and Louise Hughes, and brother Mike Hughes.  She is survived by her sister, Cheryl Hughes Jones, niece April Hughes Collins, and nephew CJ Jones.
