Debra Elliott Broome

Funeral Services for Mrs. Debra Elliott Broome, age 61 of Bremen, will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Debbie passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Cullman Regional Hospital. Born and raised in Birmingham, AL, she was a God-loving woman with a big heart. She was a member of Huffman Baptist Church most of her life. She was a stay-at-home mom to her 4 kids and a wonderful grandma to 7 grandchildren. Debbie will be deeply loved and missed. She overcame many challenges in her life proving the strength she had.

She is survived by her daughters, Sara Broome, Stephanie Broome and Amanda Szedon (Brandon), her son, Alex Broome (Taylor) her grandchildren, Brandon, Anna, Kayleigh, Mark, Jack, Emma and Parker, her brother, Steve Elliott and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Judith Ann Miller and her father, James Benjamin “JB” Elliott.

Alex Broome, Brandon Szedon, Mark Szedon, Brandon Medina, Nate Myers, Britton Lawson, Ryan Johnstonn, Reggie Lawson and Steve Elliott will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until service time at 12:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
