David Lewis

David Lee Lewis, 63, passed away recently after failing health. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Smith Lewis, his one true love, his grandparents, Carl and Louise Lewis, Skylar and Margaret Coffey, all of Glasgow, Virginia. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Lewis, Jacksonville, FL; brother, Morris Lewis (Linda) of Finley Park, Illinois; sister, Vicky Bush (Tom) of Jacksonville, FL; other cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and especially his Aunt Mary Brown of Signal Mountain, TN and an abundance of friends mad throughout his life journey as well as his loyal friends in the Nuclear Power business. David's love included music, photography, jewelry making, crafts of every kind, fishing and especially spending time with friends and family. His zest for life was never dampened by adversity hurled his way. His kind and generous nature suppressed all the pain he suffered. His dedication and love of his Savior never waivered from his early years at Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Glasgow, VA. He will no longer feel the pain imposed upon him. His heart and soul were pure and his place beside his Savior is secure. He was an avid Alabama Fan. Memorial Service will follow at a later date. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing,
