If you knew Daniel, then you knew his family and him putting them first. Anything he did he did for the love of his family. Some may not realize how religious he was, but he prayed daily. Sometimes he could be found laying across his bed praying about the day. Daniel was a fun loving, always happy, never met a stranger kind of guy. Daniel’s perspective on life: “If I can make one person laugh or smile today, then I’ve done my job.”

His love for life will live on through them. Daniel achieved much in short time on earth, but he had a few moments that shined others Daniels first proudest moment was becoming a father at the young age of 18, to Patrick. His second proudest moment was when he became a grandfather at the age of 48, to Trace. They were his life. He was very proud to have “Daniel Patrick Mitchell I, II, III.” Now his legacy will live on through Daniel Patrick Mitchell, III.
