Coy Austin

Coy Gene Austin, age 74, of Center Point, passed away on January 31, 2017. He was a deacon at Pinson Valley Baptist Church, and an auto mechanic for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Austin; his parents, A.G. and Velma Austin; his brother, Tony Austin; and his sister, Sharron Harper. He is survived by his daughters, Kristi Webb (Sam), Staci Garner (Grant), Jami Moskos (Matthew); his grandchildren, Zack and Cody McGowan; Chance, Christian and Brodie Garner; Xaris, Andreas and Niko Moskos; his sister, Debbie Cureton (Fred); his step-mother, Inez Austin; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 12pm at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
