Corabelle Reid

Corabelle Reid passed away on February 9, 2018 at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her husband William "Buddy" Reid. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Dianne Reid, daughter Annabelle Cooper, and son Bill Reid (Bonnie), granddaughters Ashley Reid and Brandi Rowell (Jeremy), Audrey Lamy (Sebastien), Rachel Leal (Mike), along with 4 great grandchildren. She was the daughter of Lester and Corabelle Stanbery. One of five children, 3 older sisters and one younger brother. She lived in Birmingham all of her life, in the Fairfield Highlands, Homewood, and Huffman areas. She was the heart of our family and she will be missed more than words can express. If you feel led, any contributions made in her honor should be made to the Alzheimer's Association, so in some small but critical way we can all do our part to try to find a cure for this mind robbing disease. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, February 14 at 1pm with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from noon until service time.
