Christopher Lee Frazier

October 31, 1961 — March 18, 2026

Christopher Lee Frazier, age 64, of Clay, AL departed this life, surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy that will never fade on March 18, 2026.

He was born on October 31,1961 to Robert (Bobby) Frazier and JoAnn Norrell Frazier. He is survived by his wife (Melissa Varney Frazier), sister Genie Frazier Woodard (Jon), daughter Christen Scott (Matthew), son Justin Richey (Beth), granddaughters (Brooklynn and Bexley), fur babies (Gypsi Rose, Henry Joseph, Baxter Bradley) an uncle, cousins in Alabama/Texas/Alaska, and countless friends.

Chris will be remembered for his sense of humor/quick wit, kind heart, strong presence, the way he never met a stranger, his unshakeable faith, and the comfort he brought to those around him. His presence was one that could not be ignored-strong, steady, and deeply felt by all who knew him.

Chris accomplished many things in this life and had a zest for living that was remarkable. He enjoyed the Great Outdoors, traveling and experiencing new things with his wife, Auburn football (WDE!), the Atlanta Braves, spending time with his family, and he loved not only his animals, but all animals. Chris overcame many challenges, including getting clean and sober on September 1, 2008. His long-term recovery was something he carried with quiet strength, and he devoted himself to helping others find the same freedom, changing countless lives along the way.

Though his absence leaves a space that can never be filled, his love, strength, and the countless lives he touched will remain. He will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and his legacy of hope and compassion will live on in all who knew him.
