Cheryl Blalock Linley

A celebration of life service honoring Cheryl Blalock Linley will be held August 18, 2026. We are saddened to have lost a precious wife, mother and friend, but celebrate knowing that she has entered her eternal life with Jesus Christ on August 13, 2026.

Cheryl will be lovingly remembered by her husband Larry; children Duane Taylor, Denise Carpenter (Jay), Kerri Linley, and Mark Linely (Tabatha); brother Peter Blalock; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents James and Sadie Blalock and her brother Ben Blalock.

Cheryl lived her life to the fullest. She offered her life to serving the Lord through evangelism and nursing. She served as a registered nurse for fifty plus years. In addition she served as a missionary both locally and internationally. She was on the mission field in South America for ten years. As a member of Crosspoint Baptist Church she led several teams to Ecuador and Guatemala. Her love of people and her love for her Lord and Savior was evident in her daily life.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM -10:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens in Trussville, Alabama. Service to follow visitation from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM. Burial will take place August 18, 2026 at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama at 12:30 PM.
