Cheryl S. Dansby

Cheryl S. Dansby, age 77, passed away on September 28, 2025. She worked for Jefferson County in the revenue department and at R.E. Grills Construction. She cared for her disabled daughter for her entire life. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles David Larkins, Sr. and Martha Ruth Smith; her siblings, Mary Larkins, David Larkins, Donna Larkins; two great-grandchildren, Marley Wise and Adrian Wise.

Cheryl is survived by her two daughters Allison (David) Hill and Jessica Dorsett; two grandchildren, Kayla (Kavin) Horsley, Christine Larkins;step grand children. Rylan Morton Baden Morton of Gardendale Al and Adleigh Pilgrm, Ayson Pilgrim, Aaralyn Pilgrim, August Pilgrim, Ames Asher Pilgrim and Abbott Pilgrim of Savannah Ga ; five great-grandchildren, Trevor Horsley, Trent Horsley, Trey Horsley, Trace Horsley, Travis Horsley.

The family will receive friends on October 9, 2025, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. There will be a memorial service at the funeral home at 12:00 pm.
