Charlotte Nix

Charlotte’s 89 years of life were filled with love, strength, courage, compassion, wisdom , humor and grace.

We were all so very fortunate and blessed to have known her.

We all want to think that she is indeed in a better place, reunited with her beloved husband  Casey, tripping the light fantastic in some glittering ballroom of her dreams.

Her mischievous smile and love for adventure was a constant delight and will forever remain in our hearts.

Her son and best friend Frances Jamerson Johnson were by her side when she passed quietly.

Born to Carl and Irene Criswell of Woodbine , Maryland, she is survived by her only son, Kirk Matthew Nix of Los Angeles, California.

Her husband Lt Col. Casey Robert Nix predeceased her in February of 2015.

A life well- lived would prove to be an understatement for the dynamic duo, setting up residence in California, Morocco Africa, Virginia and ultimately settling down in Birmingham , Alabama, the place they called home. They lived to the fullest capacity and harbored no regrets.

Services for Charlotte were held at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens on December 02, 2021 and she was thankfully surrounded by all the ones she loved the most.

We as her family will continue to honor her memory daily and realize she will be deeply missed.
