Charles Card

Charles K. Card, age 78, of Leeds, passed away May 13, 2011. Mr. Card was a pastor at a church in Kentucky and several in Alabama. He was Pastor of Prayer at The Church at Brook Hills where he was known and respected as a Strong Prayer Warrior. His favorite pastimes were Atlanta Braves Baseball, Alabama Football and Fishing. He was preceded in death by a daughter Eugenia Ann Card, his parents Graydon M. and Mable E. Card Sr., and a brother Graydon Card, Jr. Services will be at The Church at Brook Hills on Tuesday May 17, at 10am with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 5:30pm until 8pm Monday at the Church. He is survived by his wife of almost 58 years Marjolene "Margie" Card, children Carol Card Bishop, Kenneth (Rebecca) Card, Tammy Card (Stephen) Shirley, grandchildren Brian (Ann) McNeeley, Shannon Byrd, Jessica Shirley, great grandson David Brian McNeeley III.
