Carolyn Taylor Davis

Carolyn Taylor Davis, age 91 of Trussville, AL passed away on July 30, 2026. She was born on May 2, 1935 in North Carolina to Lewis A. and Rae Stroupe Taylor.

Carolyn passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at her home among family. Born in North Carolina, she lived most of her life in Trussville, Alabama. Carolyn spent many years working as a Real Estate Agent before her retirement, enjoyed watching butterflies and water skiing, even through her later years. Carolyn attended Ashville Road Church of Christ in Leeds and felt a calling to fellowship, and be a pillar for the women in her church community.

Carolyn is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth B. Davis, and her parents, Lewis and Rae Taylor.

She is survived by her children, Julie Davis, her sons, K. Wesley Davis (Danita) and Kevin Taylor Davis, her grandchildren, Alexa Davis, Jared Davis (Jen), Shelby Davis, and Heather Kelley (Stephen), her great-grandchildren, Calvin Kelley, Fox Kelley, and Vivian Kelley, her sisters, Joanne Redman and Kay Cohan, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family would like to thank Affinity Hospice for their exceptional love and care. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from 5:00 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. and a eulogy from 6:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. (CST) at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. (EST) at Jericho Church of Christ Cemetery in Mocksville, NC.
