Carol Wingard

Carolyn Owen Wingard, 72 passed away on January 1, 2011. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and devoted friend to many. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Walter Wingard; her children, Brian Wingard (Elaine Wood), Mitzi Wingard Holliday and son in law, Joe Holliday; Steve Wingard and Brad Wingard (Melissa Stegall); grandchildren, Phillip Wood, Lindsey Wingard Peeples (Michael), Janna Holliday, Kara Wingard, Cole Wingard, Starlyn Wingard and Kaelyn Wingard; great grandchildren, Autumn Peeples, Blakelee Peeples, Madison Peeples and Alexa Peeples. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 4 beginning at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Chapel services at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rick Hand officiating and burial to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Her passion of days spent in the garden will always be remembered. All who knew her loved her and the love continues.
