Burdis "Gene" Knight, 81 of Birmingham passed away on August 13, 2011. Mr. Knight was a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Ardell Knight; two sons, Michael Knight (Fran) and Bobby Knight (Bonnie); three daughters, Kathy Knight, Brenda Knight and Linda Knight; grandchildren, Bobby Knight Jr. Brandon Knight, Brittany Knight and Brooke Knight. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 16 at 10:00 AM in The Field of Honor at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
