Brian C. Cole

Funeral Services for Mr. Brian C. Cole, age 51 of Hoover, will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Gary Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining gardens.

Brian was born on August 22, 1974, at Eastend Hospital in East Lake. He passed on August 11, 2026, at his home in Hoover, Alabama.

He is survived by his Father Cecil Cole, Stepmother Diane Cole, Aunt Janett Burns, Cousins Janelle Monroe, Jonathan Burns, Gloria Miller and Stepsister Patricia Griffith.

He was preceded in death by his Mother Patricia Burns, Grandparents Dewey and Lois Cole, Grandmother Lou Anna Cash, Aunts Betty and Ruth Cash, and Cousin Danil Burns.

Brian was a devout Christian. He attended Prince of Peace Church. He was an ardent supporter of animal rights. Brian was involved in animal rescues. He saved many parrots. His collection currently includes 5 birds. He graduated from Vestavia Hills High School in 1992. He attended LSU for 2 years of undergraduate study. He received undergraduate degrees from UAB and the University of South Alabama. He completed a master's degree in public relations from the University of South Florida.

He was an avid supporter of Auburn football and LSU baseball. He touched many lives while teaching school in the Florida panhandle and Hoover, Alabama. He was a totally kind person. He took care of his Aunt Ruth who passed away just before she reached the age of 100.

The family requests no flowers, instead memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice or to the Knights of Columbus.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 from 9:00 A.M. until service time at 10:00 A.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
