Bobby Quick

Bobby G. "Sonny" Quick, age 82, went peacefully to his heavenly home, surrounded by family, August 26, 2016. He was a resident of Pell City, raised in Tarrant, Alabama where he attended elementary and high school. He was a lithographer by trade and worked thirty plus years in the metal decorating field. He was a longtime member of Tarrant American Legion Post 113 and a charter member of Pell City Elks Lodge #2818. Mr. Quick was an avid watch and clock collector and a member of the National Watch Association, Watch and Clock Collectors, "NAWCC" active in the association attending both regional and national shows. "Mr. Quick loved the ticks." He is preceded in death by his father Claude Quick, mother Gladys Brooks Quick, sister Mildred Bibby, brother Herbert Quick, and grandson Jonathan Seals. He leaves behind wife of 65 years, Bobbie Shields Quick, daughter Diane Quick Seals (Frank), son David Quick (Shelia), sister Paulette Doty Payne, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. Chapel services will be on Monday, Aug 29 at Noon with visitation from 11am until service time. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
