Bobby Samuel Davis ,87, of Birmingham AL, passed away peacefully on July 17,2026.

He was born on June 27, 1939 in Farmville, Virgina to William A Davis and Bertha Mae Davis .

He married Bobbie Jo Davis in Adamsville, AL. Bobby Davis worked as a electrician at US steel Blast furnace for 42 years.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as golf and fishing, spending time with his friends, family and grandchildren. He also loved Alabama Football. He was a member of WestMont Baptist church.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bobbie Jo Davis and his brother, Junior Davis .

He is survived by one child Greg Davis (Kim Davis); Two grandchildren(Brittany Waltman (Justin Waltman) and Brandon Davis. One Sister (Shirley Kallaher), one brother (Asa Davis/Brenda Davis) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held on 7/21/2026 at 10:30 at West Mont Baptist Church . Visitation will be 7/22/2026 from 11 to 12 at Jefferson memorial funeral home. Burial will follow at 12.
