Betty Vaughn

Betty Jean Vaughn, age 65 of Gadsden, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham. She was a devoted wife and mother, a member of Southside Baptist Church in Trussville, and was retired from South Central Bell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Lillie Pearson, as well as 6 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Vaughn leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 29 years, Gary Vaughn; daughter, Dawn Vaughn and fianceI� Tommy Rhodes; step-daughter Lisa Harland (Darren); granddaughter, Avery Harland; sisters, Frances Hill and Jennifer Manning, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Vaughn will be Monday, September 10, 2012 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home from 9 until 11 a.m. A graveside service will follow in the adjoining gardens at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
