Betty Uhler

Betty Barrett Uhler, age 77, of Springville went home to reside with our Lord on July 21, 2009. She passed away at home after battling cancer for two years. She was a member of ClearBranch United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her father, George D. Barrett. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Norm S. Uhler; sons, Jeff Uhler (Betsy) of Twin Rivers, WI, Scott Uhler (Sandy) of Dothan, AL, and Doug Uhler (Becky) of Hoover, AL; daughter, Su (Wade) Bowman of Trussville, AL; 11 grandchildren; brother, Bill Barrett (Lola) of Trussville, AL; sister-in-law, Marge Uhler of Decatur, IL; host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, August 2, 2009 from 2 to 4PM at ClearBranch United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life will follow at 4PM. Robin Scott will be officiating. In lieu of flowers donations to ClearBranch United Methodist Church or UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
