Betty Lou Byars Shoemake was born on September 10, 1928 to the union of Mamie and Erie Byars in Winfield AL. Betty departed this life on Thursday August 17, 2023. She was preceded in death, her parents, 5 siblings, and her husband, O. R. Shoemake.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Kay Fason, and son Rick Shoemake (Becky) along with 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with a service in her honor to follow in the chapel at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens.
