Betty June Lavier, age 90, of Trussville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2026. Betty was born on June 22, 1936, in Dellrose, Tennessee, to Comer and Mary Maddox. She dedicated 30 years of her life to SouthTrust Bank, where she proudly served as a head teller before retiring. Betty loved the simple joys of life. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, playing card games, sewing, crocheting, and, most of all, spending time with her family. Her love and devotion to her family were evident in everything she did, and the memories she created with them will be treasured forever. Betty married the love of her life, Glenn Lavier, on April 2, 1955. Together, they shared 61 years of marriage and raised three sons: Kevin, Keith, and Kyle. She is survived by her sons, Kyle Lavier and Keith Lavier; grandchildren, Kayla Williams (Chris) and Jarred Lavier; and great-grandchildren, Kylie, Rylee, and Jayden Williams. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Comer and Mary Maddox; her beloved husband, Glenn Lavier; and her son, Kevin Lavier. Betty’s life was a beautiful testament to the importance of family, faith, and the simple moments that make life meaningful. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and memory will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
