Bessie Allen

Bessie G. "Jerry" Allen, age 89, of Birmingham, AL passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013. She was a member of Huffman Baptist Church. She retired from Stewart Warner after 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Brice Allen, Jr.; parents, Grace and Grover Cox, of Bessemer, AL; Daughter, Barbara Gunn, and four legged companion, Tiny. She is survived by her son, Wayne Allen (Donna) of Trussville, AL; grandchildren, Brad Allen (Stacey), Scott Allen (Coe), Stacey Caten (Rusty); great grandchildren, Cameron, Justin, Zack, B.J. and Casey. Funeral service for Mrs. Allen will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with visitation one hour prior. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson memorial Gardens East in Trussville. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville directing.
