Benjamin King Scheufens

With heavy hearts but steadfast faith, we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. While our family mourns his loss, we take comfort in knowing that he has gone home to be with the Lord, welcomed by grace and eternal peace.

He proudly served his country as a United States Air Force veteran, living a life marked by honor, duty, and selflessness. These same values guided him at home, where he was a devoted husband to his wife, Terri Scheufens, and a loving, steadfast father to his children, Jake Scheufens and Olivia Scheufens. His family was his greatest earthly blessing, and his love for them was evident in everything he did.

He is proceeded by his father Theodore Scheufens and his mother Deborah Scheufens.

He is survived by his wife, Terri; his son, Jake; and his daughter, Olivia. He is also survived by his brother, Kurt Scheufens, his wife Whittney, and their daughter Ava; his sister, Kara Tolbert, her husband Josh, and their daughters Scarlett and Lainey; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who will carry his memory forward.

A man of faith, he believed in the promise of salvation and the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ. His life reflected kindness, loyalty, and a quiet strength that comforted those around him. He was someone others could depend on, a steady presence in both joyful and difficult times.

Though he will be deeply missed, we rejoice in the assurance that this separation is temporary. As Scripture reminds us, “Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord.” His legacy of love, service, and faith will continue to live on through his family and all who were blessed to know him.
