Barbara Bliss McCarley

age 90, of Birmingham, AL passed away on March 11, 2014. She retired after many years with the Birmingham H.U.D and Urban Development Office. She was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. McCarley, Sr.; son, Joseph E. McCarley, Jr. She is survived by her sister, Mary B. Anderson of Raleigh, NC; brothers, Stewart A. Bliss, Jr. of Denver, CO and Robert B. Bliss of Birmingham, AL; grandson, Michael McCarley of Durham, NC. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 14 at 11:00am at Forest Hill Cemetery, Birmingham. Rev. Emily Penfield will be officiating. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
