Barbara Ann Marcus

Graveside Services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Marcus, age 83 of Oneonta, will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens – Abbey Mausoleum with Bro. John Churchill officiating.

Barb passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at her home. Born in Cartersville, Illinois, she met the love of her life, Ronnie Marcus, in Chicago and they were married on December 8, 1967. Ronnie was from Alabama, so they decided to move back with their kids to buy their first home. Barb was a devoted wife, a cherished mother and grandmother, and loving homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Alan Marcus (Stacey), Warren Bauck (Rhonda), Kim Wix (Tim), Mark Bauck and Jeffrey Marcus, her grandchildren, Jessica Sutterfield (Jason), Warren Bauck, Jr. (Carrie), Sara Price (Zac), Traci Palmer, Maranda Allen, Matthew Bauck, Luke Marcus, Katelyn Franklin (Devon), Sarah Drake, Anna Drake and Seth Romano, her great-grandchildren, Damian Broyles (Peyton), Nicholas Sutterfield (Ashton), Trevor Reid, Isabella Bauck, Kadence Price, Avyn Price, Hazel Price, Hadley Bauck, Malachi Allen, Kiara Allen, Megan Palmer and Sebastian Palmer, her great-great-grandchildren, Roman Broyles, Rayven Broyles and Hainsley Sutterfield, her siblings, Margaret “Bunny” Arthur (Kendall), Darlene Smith, and Jerry Minder (Annie), and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie L. Marcus, her parents, David Minder and Ruby Cooper Minder, her sisters, Betty Jo Casey and Carolyn Sue Graham, and her brothers, David E. Minder and Roy Harrison Minder.

Tim Wix, Luke Marcus, Seth Romano, friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
