Barbara H. Wright, born March 28, 1941, passed away September 9, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David, who passed away July 7, 2011.

Barbara is survived by her two children, Kirk and his wife Andi and Victor and his wife Beth; eight grandchildren, Jordan, Brandon, Grayson, Maggie, Eden, Shea, Abel, and Mazzy: and two great grand children, Caden and Lydia.

A lifelong member of McElwain Baptist Church, Barbara devoted her life to serving God and others. She especially loved singing in the choir, rocking babies in the nursery, and cooking for everyone on church trips. Her faith, love, and servant’s heart touched countless lives.

A graveside service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, 12:00 pm on Saturday Sept. 12, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Big Oak Ranch of Alabama or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

She will be deeply loved, greatly missed, and forever remembered.
