Barbara Begis

Barbara Evans Begis, age 79 of Birmingham, AL passed away on February 18, 2018. She was a member of Crestway Baptist Church. She was a member of Phi Kappa Phi at Birmingham Southern. She has two Master Degree's from UNO. She taught Special Education at Rudd High School and she was an accomplished horsewoman. She was preceded in death by her son, Heath J'Lloyd Cantley. She is survived by her children, Kristina Cantley Vaji (Jeff), Sunni Evan Montgomery and Peter Montgomery; grandchildren, Shannon Evan Montgomery, Stacey Montgomery, Ben Montgomery, Nick Montgomery, Madeline Vaji and Jack Vaji. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 5 to 7 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be on Thursday at 12 PM in the chapel and the burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Brother Jimmy Wilson will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
