Annette Mealer

Annette Jones Mealer, 84, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, in Birmingham, Alabama, after a long and courageous battle with dementia. Annette was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend to many. Her kind spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other beloved family members and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Ann Embry; her parents, Mary and Travis Jones; and her brothers, Travis and Clenton Jones.

Though she is no longer with us, she is now resting where angels stand. Annette’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
