George "Buddy" Long, daughters Missy (Kimbro), Dana (Watts), Toni (Bob) Moore, Teri

James "Jimmy" Witte, her twin brother, Allan Witte, daughter, Debi Enzor Dove, granddaugh

at Exchange Security Bank in Center Point in the mid-60's. In the mid-70's, she attended

Jefferson State Junior

College for secretary school and ultimately, retired as the Executive Assistant to the Senior

Vice President of Red Lobster with Darden Restaurants. Amelia loved spending time with fam

ily and friends, singing in the choir, dancing, boating, visiting historical landmarks and re

searching family history. Amelia was very appreciative of the military and couldn't get through

any store without thanking and hugging any veteran she came in contact with. She was known

for her welcoming smile, infectious laugh, love of frogs and "love pats". In lieu of flowers, the

family requests that a donation be made in her name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
