Caring for others was woven throughout Pete’s life, both professionally and personally.
Pete loved music and used his voice to bless others for many years. He enjoyed singing with a barbershop quartet and performing for audiences both large and small, often performing solo with just his guitar or banjo. He especially loved leading singing in the Lord’s church, where he also faithfully served as an elder for many years. Pete had a deep love for Scripture and enjoyed teaching Bible classes and encouraging others in their faith.

Most importantly, Pete loved the Lord and sought to serve Him faithfully to the very best of his ability. His family finds comfort in knowing that his suffering has ended and that he is now at peace.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith, in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all those who have loved His appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8
