Aida “Ann” Colangelo Parks, age 97, of Trussville, Alabama, passed away on October 13, 2026. She was born on April 1, 1929, in Brooklyn, New York to Antonio and Amalia Colangelo.

Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. You could always find her cooking Italian meals for her family, tending her large vegetable garden in her backyard, or making beautiful handmade crafts, like quilts, clothes, and knitted and crochet items. She was patient, kind, optimistic, and loved her family dearly.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, William Parks, Sr. and her daughter, Barbara Parks. She is survived by her sons, William Parks, Jr. (Debbie), Richard Parks (Janice), and Brian Parks. She also leaves behind several beloved nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Ann’s life will be celebrated at a graveside service on Monday, October 19th, 2026 at 12:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, Alabama.
