Ada Irene Parr Taylor

Ada Irene Parr Taylor was born on May 30, 1937 in Birmingham, AL and grew up in the Norwood community. She spent her later years in Leeds, AL. Ada left to celebrate eternity in Heaven on April 25, 2026, just shy of her 89th birthday.

She is survived by one brother, Marlin Markham, one daughter, Cindy Taylor Freeman (Gaylon), one son, David Taylor (Hope); eight grandchildren, Steve Freeman (Heather), Cheryl Freeman Milam (Brian), Jonathan Freeman (Allie), Brandy Taylor Eberhart, Chaz Taylor, Travis Vanderslice, Amy Phillips Riggs, Michael Phillips and nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William H. Parr and Elizabeth Lahman Markham; brother, James Parr; sister, Brenda Markham; and daughter, Tammy Taylor Phillips.

Ada was a woman of great faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her life was one of service to others and love of family. She will forever be singing praises to the Lord with joy.

There will be a family graveside service on Thursday, April 30th. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the UAB Palliative Care Unit, 1713 6th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35233. 205-996-6870
